pH Raw X, born Matimba Gift Nkuna is an award-winning South African music producer, sound engineer, and recording artist who has spent over a decade shaping the sonic landscape of Mzansi hip-hop. Emerging from Giyani and establishing his footprint in Johannesburg, he founded Raw X Productions, a premier studio hub that birthed defining hits for industry icons like AKA, Khuli Chana, and Riky Rick.
Known for his meticulous sonic engineering, he eventually stepped out from behind the boards to launch a successful solo career. His acclaimed albums, such as “Sense Experience,” & “Ekeyoto,” and “From Giyani With Love Too,” blend hard-hitting rap beats with rich, experimental Afro-pop and traditional rhythms.
